Alongside Maha and Isra Syed (daughters), leads RevSoft Global LLC, Jamila Foundation, and Permaculture, aiming to reshape the global technology landscape and create opportunities for future generations.

Saima Ali is currently writing a memoir that reflects on her personal and professional journey, drawing parallels to themes of resilience and strength. Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Saima Ali has enthusiastically embraced her new role as a lady lobbyist in North Carolina, advocating for women’s rights and social justice. Leveraging her personal experiences and passion for empowerment, she seeks to influence policy changes that support equitable opportunities for women, aiming to create a more inclusive society. Through her advocacy work, Saima Ali is dedicated to amplifying the voices of marginalized women and driving meaningful change in her community and beyond.

A Harvard University alumna, Saima Ali began her career in esteemed organizations such as Fidelity Investments, MetLife, Wells Fargo, Sprint and Nextel, Cisco Systems, Apple and NetApp where she honed her expertise in technology and business strategy.

In July 2023, Saima Ali launched RevSoft Global LLC an innovative, an IT startup alongside Jamila foundation; a nonprofit organization. She is dedicated to enhancing nonprofit outreach globally starting with rural North Carolina US while broadening RevSoft Global footprints in China, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom. Collaborating with her daughters, Saima Ali is developing targeted implementation plans for RevSoft Global LLC, Jamila Foundation, and Permaculture solutions. RevSoft Global LLC is headquartered in North Carolina, Saima is passionately committed to empowering women worldwide and, is dedicated to creating opportunities for the underserved communities.

Early Life and Education

Early Education

Born into a spiritual family in Lahore, Pakistan, Saima Ali was profoundly shaped by her parents’ teachings on education, survival skills, and spiritual faith, especially during her mother’s serious illness at the age of eight. Her academic journey commenced at Cathedral High School, where she excelled as both a student leader and athlete. At sixteen, she relocated to New York under her father’s guidance and continued her education at Jamaica High School, achieving honor roll status and earning competitive swimming accolades. These formative experiences, coupled with her family’s Sufi heritage, instilled in her a lifelong commitment to social change and empowerment.

Higher Education

In 1999 Saima Ali began her higher education journey with Human Resource Management Certificate from Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC. In 2013, she enrolled at Harvard University, pursuing a Bachelor of Liberal Arts (ALB) degree in Social Science, Business Administration, and Management. In 2016, she enhanced her expertise in organizational dynamics by completing a Graduate Level Professional Certificate in Organizational Behavior Studies at Harvard, which deepened her understanding of human behavior within organizations and equipped her with effective leadership principles.

Recognizing the importance of practical skills in a rapidly evolving professional landscape, Saima pursued an Advanced Project Management Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2016 to 2019. This program provided her with essential tools and methodologies for managing innovative projects, particularly in the technology sector, further refining her project management capabilities.

Saima’s educational background has been pivotal in shaping her professional outlook and reinforcing her commitment to empowering women and underrepresented communities. She is fiercely working to combine her Harvard network with her North Carolina and global business and academic connections to create collaborative opportunities for greater impact across RevSoft Global, Jamila Foundation, and Permaculture solutions.

Personal Journey

Saima Ali’s personal journey encompasses two challenging marriages, birth of her two daughters and a son serving as both catalyst for renewed strength and a source of profound motivation. Fueled by her experiences, she made the bold decision to leave the corporate world and establish RevSoft Global, alongside the Jamila Foundation, which honors her late mother. Through these impactful initiatives, Saima exemplifies resilience and an unwavering commitment to advocating for women’s empowerment, illustrating the transformative power of faith and education in her life’s work.

New Beginning

Saima Ali is currently embarking on a new chapter as a Lady lobbyist in North Carolina, where she advocates for women’s rights and social justice through RevSoft Global and Jamila Foundation. Inspired by her journey, she is dedicated to effecting meaningful policy changes that promote equality and opportunity for women. Her 2025 focus is to deepen her expertise by pursuing a Masters in Business Administration in International Business at University of North Carolina. Also, Alhumdullilah, I am running for Graduate student association at my University for a board executive role, further enriching her educational background to amplify her impact and influence over women advocacy in technology and other aspects of life.

I resigned from my North Carolina Discussion Social Group President role in February 2025 and joined Harvard Club of the Triangle as a Board member and Advisor Alhumdulillah since February 2025, she engages in initiatives that support education and empowerment for women, reflecting her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the world. Through her academic and professional pursuits, Saima has developed a robust skill set that positions her as a leader and advocate for positive social change.

She believes resilience is an inherent gift that prepares individuals for their destinies. Determined to share her story, Saima began documenting her journey in 2023 with the help of a talented ghostwriter to enrich her narrative. Her memoir, drawing comparisons to celebrated works like Tara Westover’s Educated and Maxine Hong Kingston’s The Woman Warrior, unfolds as a testament to enduring strength and the transformative power of resilience. Saima’s story stands as a beacon of hope and advocacy for women trapped in cycles of abuse, transforming her experiences into a powerful testament to endurance and the life-changing potential of education. Through her memoir, she seeks to inspire others to confront their challenges and rise above them, fostering a supportive community rooted in understanding. Her journey exemplifies a deep commitment to uplifting others and championing empowerment, positioning her as a vital voice in the movement for change.
